Enjoy
a fantastic winter's day out! Discover Scottish wildlife
and endangered animals of the world's mountains and
tundra in the spectacular setting of the Highland Wildlife
Park.
Drive
around the Main Reserve in your own car and then investigate
the walk-round area. We are open daily and our opening
times in February are 10am - 4pm (last entry 3pm).
As you can see, like Sasha, one
of our Amur tigers, most of our animals love this wintry
weather!
MERCEDES IN THE
SNOW!
The
freezing weather over the last few weeks has been welcomed
by Mercedes the polar bear. This is her first experience
of a Highland winter and she has been very active since
the first snowfall. Mercedes' enclosure is between the
drive-round Main Reserve and the walk-round area, so
she can be seen even if we have to shut the Main Reserve
due to snow.
